2016 Kismet Guac Off!

Among all this Guac and chips there were margaritas sweet, salty, sour, smoky and STRONG

 

 Nine year old Jack Berninzoni Won!!! First place!!! His entry was Truffle guacamole with wonton chips! Yea I said truffles, Jack made note that "people were taking chips without even taking a taste of Guac". Jack won the Kismet burger cook off in June so he is in a very small club with Gregg Weisser. Winning cook offs in the same season. This year as always competitors were tough, Brian Leslie Hughes, three time champs didn't hold back it was a smoky rich and rockin Guac with homemade chips. The second place Pomegranate Guac by Jodi Goldman, was definitely a TASTY inspiration. But among all this Guac and chips there were margaritas sweet, salty, sour, smoky and STRONG, The two winners know their way around good drinks, Rookie entry, the newly engaged Jake Purdie and Cynthia from Beach & Vine entered the Cuba inspired margarita that left warm smiles on everyone. The winner was Three Time champion Bicycle Bill in BVT. Complete with, table cloth salted rim coconut watermelon banana blast got everyone off on the right foot for a great event!!!, see ya next year!
